The LiveARTS String Quartet is a new, vibrant and exceptional group of four of Boston's finest musicians. Formed in the fall of 2009, the LASQ performed its inaugural concert on October 18, 2009, on the LiveARTS concert series in Franklin, Massachusetts, with which the Quartet is affiliated and from which it derives its name.

Performing with Boston’s major music establishments, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, Boston Ballet Orchestra, and Boston Lyric Opera Orchestra, and holding degrees from some of the country’s most prestigious conservatories, including The Juilliard School, Boston University College of Fine Arts, Boston Conservatory, and New England Conservatory – these outstanding musicians bring a wealth of experience and a rich background to their music making.
